Kendall Moore

Mr. Moore began building companies with Tom McDonnell in 2000 when he left the law firm of Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens, and Cannada, PLLC, where he was a partner and spent the first 13 years of his law practice.  From August 2006 until June 2020, he served as Executive Associate for Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi.  

He has represented clients in general business and corporate, governmental affairs, environmental, toxic tort, construction, insurance, franchising, intellectual property, estate planning, employment, church, and civil rights matters, in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, litigation, and administrative proceedings. Kendall has authored and co-authored numerous papers and presentations on strategic planning; environmental matters; construction disputes; church policy, polity, planning, and leadership; and business law.  He has also served as a court-appointed mediator in the resolution of business litigation.

Kendall served as the Vice Chairman of the Nonprofit Laws Study Group for the Mississippi Secretary of State. He is a past member of the Executive Committee of the SONREEL section of the Mississippi Bar.  He is a member of the franchising, business law, construction law, environmental law, estate planning, and other sections and committees of various local, state, and national bar associations, and he has served on the environmental committees of the Mississippi Manufacturer's Association, the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and Lex Mundi.  He has served on several Chamber of Commerce committees over the years, as well as on the boards of numerous charitable, religious, and professional groups across the nation. 

He served on the SBC Committee on Nominations, and he served on the initial Board of Trustees for the North American Mission Board.  He served for ten years and chaired for two years a sub-board of NAMB in charge of broadcast communications, and prior to that, he was a trustee of the Radio and Television Commission of the SBC.  He has served as a trustee of the Christian Action Commission of the MBC, and he is the past President of the Board of Ministerial Education of the MBC.  He has served on the Education Commission of the MBC, and he has served as the Metro Baptist Association=s representative on the Advisory Board to the Baptist Student Union at Hinds Community College.  He also served on the President’s Advisory Board at William Carey College.  He is the past Vice Chairman of the Board of Jackson Youth for Christ and a past board member of Mission Mississippi.  He has served on the Advisory Board for

Habitat for Humanity of the Jackson area, the Board of Christian Women’s Job Corps of Central Mississippi, Inc., His Heart, Inc., VSA Arts of Mississippi, Inc., and as an advisor to the Mississippi Youth Legislature.

Mr. Moore earned his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering in 1984 from Mississippi State University, where he was the 1982 Harry S. Truman Scholar for Mississippi and the first Simrall Scholar in Engineering.  He graduated magna cum laude and second in his class from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1987, where he was a James O. Eastland Scholar. He is a licensed property and casualty broker, producer, and adjuster in all 50 states. 

Kendall and his wife Beth are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church and live in Madison, MS where they have raised three successful children.
