Trey Breckenridge
Trey originally joined Refuge Group as the Vice President of Operations for the U-Save Car and Truck Rental franchise system. He served the organization for two years and was instrumental in streamlining operations, advancing the organization, and preparing the system for acquisition by Green Motion International in 2022.
After joining Refuge Group. Trey co-founded Trace Advisory Group, a firm offering the best in accounting, compliance auditing, grants management, and operations support services to federal, state, and commercial clients nationwide. The Trace team has over 75 years of combined management consulting experience and includes Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Internal Auditors (CIA), Project Management Professionals (PMP), and Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE).
In 2020, Trey took on the additional responsibility of Vice President of Operations for GC Logistics a national government service contractor focused on operations and maintenance of municipal, state, and federal government facilities. Under his focused attention, the business achieved its first full year of profitability, increased revenue by more than 300%, and significantly expanded services for existing clients. In recognition of his contributions and in further alignment with a long-term partnership with the Refuge Group, Trey became a partner in GC Logistics in 2022.
Trey was one of the first Project Managers in Government Services at HORNE LLP. He specialized in delivering comprehensive strategies to clients as they administer HUD and FEMA disaster recovery programs by assisting them in all phases of recovery, including planning, implementation, execution, and closeout.
Trey also offers ten years of experience in public accounting at HORNE LLP and KPMG US. He served private and publicly traded clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, chemical, retail, banking, government, and nonprofit. He has extensive experience providing assurance, internal audit, risk management services, and Sarbanes Oxley, Section 404 implementation, and compliance.
Trey is a graduate of the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi receiving his Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy. Trey is a Certified Internal Auditor (No. 125746), Certified Fraud Examiner (No. 580726), and Project Management Professional (No. 1820564).
Trey, his wife Ginny, and their three accomplished children make their home in Madison, MS.
